n this post is about eid al-Adha
ok n this is just a few wiki for u guys about al-Adha
eid al-Adha or "Festival of Sacrifice" or "Greater Eid" is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide to commemorate the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Isma'il as an act of obedience to God (Allah), before God intervened to provide him with a ram to sacrifice instead. The meat is divided into three parts to be distributed to others. The family retains one third of the share, another third is given to relatives, friends and neighbors, and the other third is given to the poor & needy.
it a way of muslim to appreciate wat the had regarding all they had are from Allah and way of muslim to help one another who are needed by contributing the part of scarifice animal. Not every type of animal can do a scrifice, there a certain animal can do the sacrifice such as cow, goat and camel.
